This year we will be featuring a range of containers suitable for the catering, foodservice, logistics and pharmaceutical industries.
Because of the variety of options available in each range, we thought a quick guide to each container on display would be useful.
Lets look at the logistics line-up in more details.
Melform’s multi-temperature containers are well known in the logistics industry for their flexibility and durability. Manufactured using rotational moulding technology without sharp edges, joints or welds, the line-up assures highly efficient temperature retention.
Visitors to the event will be able to view the:
So let’s look at each one in mode details.
The Koala 70 AF is a front opening insulated container with a 68 litres capacity, weighing only 24Kg. It has a dual-power supply option to maintain a temperature range between 0°C to +40°C. Customers can transport their perishable goods in a vehicle by connecting the Koala power supply to the vehicle’s battery. Alternatively, it can be connected to a normal domestic power supply when not in transition.
The temperature-controlled containers come with a range of shelves and storage solutions depending on requirements, as well as a trolly system for ease of movement. The front opening door opens at 240° and can be removed for cleaning. The temperature is controlled through a digital thermostat visible on the container and it is compatible with a USB data logger for full monitoring at every stage of the cold chain.
The Koala 140 AF is again a front opening insulated container with 140 litres capacity and only weighing 46Kg. As per the above, this to has the dual-power supply. However, the temperature range is -30°C to +40°, therefore it can be used for chilled, freezer and hot requirements. The temperature range is programmable using a digital thermostats visible at the front of the container and compatible with the USB data logger.
The containers can be easily stacked using a stainless steel interlocking kit and allow for multi-temperature transportation within one vehicle. The internal cooling unit is triggered when external temperature is higher than the temperature set with the programmable digital thermostat, allowing for constant temperature throughout the usage. The Koala range of containers can be used for the transport of perishable goods in both the foodservcie and pharmaceutical industries, where accurate temperature monitoring if a necessity.
The Koala range will be showcased at The Commercial Vehicle Show, taking place on 3oth April – 2nd May at the NEC Birmingham. You will find the CoolKit team at Stand No 3C50 in the CoolZone.
