One of our focus for the CV Show this year is to showcase our expertise in temperature controlled solutions within the pharmaceutical market. Because of this, we will be displaying the latest addition to the Melform pharmaceutical range: the Biomed 140.
Lets take a look at this product range in more detail …
Melform have been designing and manufacturing insulated containers for the transport of pharmaceuticals and laboratory samples for over 50 years. The wide and versatile product range is ATP Certified for the transport of perishable goods by road, with options of front or side opening, castors or feet and equipped with a range of accessories enhance their use.
The Biomed line-up allow for precision in temperature control, with a range of -25°C to + 40°C, and a degree of accuracy in temperature adjustment of +/- 0.5°C. The heating and cooling units within the containers work to guarantee the required temperature no matter what the weather conditions. The containers can be connected to the vehicle’s battery during transportation and, once you have reached the destination, they can be connected to the power mains, so that there is no disruption within the cold chain.
Eco-friendly, fully recyclable at the end of their operational life and easy to clean, they are the perfect solution for pharmaceutical temperature controlled transport.
The Biomed 140 is the latest addition to the Melform range, and will be on display at The CV Show within our pharmaceutical refrigerated vehicle.
The product has a 140 litres capacity and is available in 4 versions:
The heating and cooling unit within the container assist in maintaining the desired temperature independently of the external weather conditions. The heating unit is triggered when external temperature is lower than the temperature set with the programmable digital thermostat. Likewise, the cooling unit is triggered when external temperature is higher that the temperature set on the thermostat.
The inner and outer walls of the container and the door are manufactured using polyethylene, and the insulated material between the walls and the door is manufactured using polyurethane, both materials being compliant with safety legislations and free of CFC and HCFC.
External dimensions: 620mm x 1000mm x 710mm (h)
Internal dimensions: 415mm x 620mm x 515mm (h)
The container can be transported using ambient vehicles as well as refrigerated vehicles. Using a number of containers it is possible to transport goods in multiple temperature ranges simultaneously within one vehicle.
The product will be on display at The Cv Show, CoolKit Stand No 3E115 in the Cool Zone. Alternatively, contact our team on 0845 459 5418 to learn more about the full range of Melform products which include catering, food logistics and food service solutions.
