With the launch of the latest Euro 6.2 engine, the Peugeot Boxer is updating the current range to meet the latest standards.

New technology options are available, including a new 9-inch touch-sensitive GPS, allowing vehicle dimensions to be re-entered to avoid potential size-restricted roads. This GPS is also compatible with the WAZE real-time traffic application and allows two phones to be connected simultaneously.

Safety is further enhanced with the Blind Spot Monitoring System which outputs information via an LED in the left or right mirror. The equipment also has a ‘rear traffic alert’ which can detect vehicles in a distance of 50m to the left or right when the reverse gear is engaged. The information is audible in the passenger compartment. Finally, the system is complemented by the ‘trailer merge assist’, which provides blind spot monitoring taking into account the size of a trailer (between 3 and 9 meters).

Fleet managers will be able to rely on the new ‘Peugeot Connect’ telematics case, which allows them to:

  • Monitor fuel consumption
  • Track vehicles in case of theft or designated geographical area
  • Monitor maintenance
  • Get tips on eco driving
