Within the courier and transport market we understand how critical it is for fridge van drivers to be able to keep track of the temperature within their load space and provide proof of this at point of delivery.
Through relationships with industry-leading suppliers of temperature monitoring systems, we can incorporate this important feature within our fridge van conversions. This technological addition allows drivers to gain complete visibility of their real-time temperature range and provide print-outs of the journey at point of delivery. The units can be mounted either internally in the radio slot or within the bulkhead of a panel van, both within easy reach of the driver.
Our latest success story comes with Cheshire based PDQ Specialist Courier Services, who have recently taken delivery of seven new multi-temperature refrigerated vehicles from us. Accurate temperature control was essential for PDQ due to the produce being carried which required accurate real-time information monitoring. The technology fitted within the fridge conversion provided traceability throughout the delivery process, even monitoring the length of time of every door opening during the delivery cycle.
Thanks to our in-house design capabilities, it is possible to personalise each conversion we carry out within this market sector, understanding the different temperatures that may be required for different goods being carried. Dual temperature, or even triple temperature, refrigerated vehicles can be created with either fixed or moving bulkheads, all fitted with the correct refrigeration units to carry out the job.
