The Sprinter has been making history since 1995, and has built a reputation for outstanding operational reliability, allowing users to concentrate on their business activities without worrying about the vehicle maintenance.

The latest model benefits from low emission and fuel consumption figures thanks to a systematically enhanced engine and innovative BlueEFFICIENCY technology.

Available in four body lengths and two heights, it can be converted into a refrigerated vehicle to suit a variety of requirements, from small but robust, to large and powerful fridge and freezer vans.

Safety on board

Mercedes made a real effort with the standard safety features on the latest Sprinter. It is the first panel van to have been fitted with a Crosswind Assist as standard, a feature which uses strategic brake applications to counter any tendency to drift off the side and so helps your drivers stay on course.

Its cutting-edge ADAPTIVE ESP® dynamic handling control system takes account of the load status to ensure correct modulation of the active intervention by the brake system, and it’s complimented by several functions, two important examples being Disc Wipe and Electronic Brake Prefill

Does It Work As A Fridge Van?

The answer is YES! Available as a SWB, MWB, LWB and XLWB, the Mercedes Sprinter can literally suit all the market sectors we operate in both as a fridge or freezer specification, as well as dual-temperature if required.

The double rear doors provide access to a spacious load space whatever the wheel base specified. The side entrance can be kept as the standard sliding door for chiller conversions, or upgraded to a slab door, which is the specification we recommend when looking at freezer or deep-freeze conversions.

With a choice of smooth gel flooring or gritted GRP, a range of powerful refrigeration units fit for purpose, bespoke in-house design and manufacturer of the conversion to suit exact business requirements, including any storage, shelving or extra protection the operator may wish to include, the Sprinter is a truly versatile refrigerated vehicle which is a pleasure to convert.
