About the role
To be responsible for the installation service and trouble shoot a range of refrigeration systems in commercial vehicles. You will also provide guidance and support to the Junior Refrigeration Engineers throughout their training programme.
This role is critical for CoolKit to achieve our vision and mission by being an active participant in creating the companyโs product. It is also crucial in upholding CoolKitโs values

Required Knowledge / Skills / Experience

You must be driven to achieve results in the best time frame possible. Be able to work in a fast-paced environment whilst problem-solving on the job. You will have a good eye for detail and be able to communicate effectively with other departmental functions.

You will hold a F-Gas Qualification and have experience of fault diagnosis.

Responsibilities

Inspect, service and diagnose a range of refrigeration systems.

Repair and replace refrigeration components, including compressors, condensers, and evaporators.

Have knowledge in re-charging refrigeration systems and ensuring proper pressure and cooling levels.

Lead installation and repair of new refrigeration systems in vehicles.

Create and maintain accurate records of maintenance, calibration, and repairs performed.

Follow safety protocols and industry standards to ensure a safe working environment.

Assist and maintain an accurate stock and learn to order necessary parts and equipment for repairs and servicing.

Support team members and customers to ensure efficient and effective service delivery.

Provide clear explanations of work performed and any necessary follow-up actions to the wider team
