CoolKit recently celebrated the 18th anniversary of Paul McCaffrey, Drew Everett, Mark Jepson, and the 16th anniversary of Scott Maden with the company. These employees have been with the company for many years, and their contributions have been instrumental in its success.
Rupert Gatty, Founder and CEO of CoolKit, expressed his appreciation, stating, “Their dedication and expertise have been pivotal in shaping CoolKit into what it is today. Their long-standing commitment reflects the values we cherish – dedication, hard work, and a passion for excellence.”
Drew, who started out as a shop floor and manufacturing supervisor, has worn many hats over the years, from kit developer to CNC programmer and operator. His expertise in kit development, CNC programming, and CAD design has been invaluable to the company.
*When asked about his time at CoolKit, Drew said, “I am extremely proud to still be a part of this company and how it’s grown from the four people that we had when it first started. It also says something about the company that the three people that started along with Rupert all still work here, (myself, Paul McCaffrey and Mark Jepson).”
Scott who started in 2005 has been a valuable member of the team for 16 years. In his first few years, he primarily operated the CNC machine while pursuing an NVQ in manufacturing through North Lancs Training Group. Over the years, his role evolved within the manufacturing department, involving tasks such as working on the press, laminating, and operating the saw when needed. He also stepped into the role of a supervisor during backshifts.”
Paul, Mark have also made significant contributions to the company. Paul, who joined CoolKit in its early days, has played a key role in the manufacturing department, contributing to the company’s growth and success. Mark has been with CoolKit since the beginning and has helped the company become a leader in the refrigerated van conversion industry.
