The background
My Fish Company is a wholesaleย fish and seafood businessย operating from the coastal townย of Fleetwood.ย The company covers anย 80-mile radius, deliveringย to a niche customer base ofย hotels,ย restaurants and theย supermarket chain Booths.
The challenge
The company needed to increase its fleet of vehicles to aid growth and thereย wasย specific criteria which needed to be met for the safety of its own staff as well as for its customers.
โOur staffย are here at 5:30am loading the vans โ which is fine during the summer months, but in winterย theyย need to be well lit. We are mainly loading produce that has been frozen or chilled,ย so the loading space needs to be anti-slip, with drainage holes and the ability to power wash everything down.โ
