About Us:
CoolKit Ltd is the largest panel van converter in the UK, specialising in refrigerated vehicles. We provide warranty and service maintenance on all makes and models, offering our customers peace of mind and reliability. Our Aftersales team is expanding, and we are seeking skilled Refrigerated Transport Engineers to join us during this exciting period of growth in the refrigerated vehicle sector.
Summary
- Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on refrigerated vehicles to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
- Troubleshoot and repair refrigeration units, including electrical, lining and mechanical components.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, including parts used and hours worked, for invoicing and warranty purposes.
- Communicate effectively with customers on site.
- Collaborate with other members of the Aftersales team to optimise workflow and ensure timely completion of service tasks.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Previous experience as a Refrigerated Transport Engineer or similar role in the automotive or refrigeration industry.
- Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing refrigeration systems, including electrical and mechanical components.
- Strong technical knowledge of refrigeration principles
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to customer locations as needed.
Relevant certifications or qualifications in refrigeration engineering or automotive mechanics preferred.
