Established in 2005, CoolKit is the largest refrigerated and temperature-controlled van specialist in the UK.
We occupy 70,000 square feet of manufacturing premises on a four acre site in Burnley, Lancashire, with enough capacity to work on 60 vehicles at a time. An all-new leadership team for 2023 is driving continued rapid growth and business improvement. CoolKit presently employs a team of more than 100 valued people who will convert more than 1,500 panel vans alongside building 200 insulated box vans in 2023-24, and will also sell more than 500 ready-converted vans. All our products are developed in-house and they are supported by a network of specialist mobile technicians dedicated to maximising reliability and performance.

What is the role?
We are looking to increase our team of commercial vehicles refrigeration unit installers, we are ideally looking for competent transport refrigeration engineers but are willing to train up those with experience in electrics/motor vehicles technicians/mechanics/auto electrician.
Essential experience/qualities
• Quick learner, capably of following instructions with the ability to demonstrate an appropriate consideration for health and safety
• Electrical/commercial vehicle/refrigeration background
Benefits
• Starting rate dependant on experience – £11.50 – £15.52 per hour
• 4-day week – Monday – Thursday 6.30am – 4.30pm
